PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature of recirculating air at a suitable temperature by providing a cooling means for maintaining stored water in the water receiving tank of a washing column at a low temperature at all times and an air heating means for adjusting an air temperature, which is disposed in a circulating air flow passage between the washing column and a bioclean room on the downstream side of the washing column. CONSTITUTION:By diffusing ozone produced by an ozonizer 5 into water in an ozone dissolver 6 through an ozone diffusing tube 51, the ozone is dissolved to be absorbed in the water and sterilizes germs separated and collected from a treated air current in the process of circulating water supply between the ozone dissolver 6 and the water receiving tank 31 of a washing column 3. A chilling unit 7, as a cooling means for stored water in the water receiving tank 31, is connected to said water receiving tank 31 of the washing column 3 through a circulating water feed pipe 72 with a water feed pump 71. Further, on the down- stream side of the washing column 3, a heater 8for adjusting an air temperature is disposed within a circulating air flow duct between the washing column 3 and a bioclean room 1. The operation of the chilling unit is controlled so as to maintain the stored water in the water receiving tank 31 at 9-11 deg.C, and the supply of power to the heater 8is also controlled so that an outlet temperature set value at which air circulating to the bioclean room 1 through the washing column 3 is blown into a room is set, for example, at 12+ or -3 deg.C. |
