<p>PURPOSE:To ensure an engine output and obtain favorable acceleration responsiveness by suspending a speed-change shock relieving control at the time of a shift-down action from the minimum speed-change stage to the next minimum speed-change stage to the next minimum speed-change stage of change gear ratio. CONSTITUTION:In a speed-change control by means of a transmission control unit 200, when shift-down conditions except a shift-down condition from a fourth gear to a third gear are established out of shift conditions for carrying out the speed-change action of an automatic transmission 10 with an engine 1 satisfying prescribed conditions, a speed-change delay pulse signal is fed to an engine control unit 100 when a defined term elapsed from a point of time at which an ordinary shift-down condition is established. Thereby, a speed-change shock is sufficiently relieved at the time of a speed-change action when there is fear of generating a relatively large speed-change shock, while without carrying out such a control as to lower the output of the engine 1 at the time of a speed- change action when there is no fear of generating a large speed-change shock, obtaining favorable accelerating responsiveness.</p> |
