<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the use in an abnormal state by raising an alarm to a writer and informing its position, when a character frame position which has been stored in advance has been changed due to an accident. CONSTITUTION:By using an X character frame boundary value which has been inputted from an X character frame boundary value storage part 100, each character frame width in the (x) direction is derived in an X character frame width calculating part 110 and stored in an MI memory 150, and X character frame width by which the frequency being an equivalence is the largest is determined and set to an Mx register 120. In an X character frame boundary value deciding part 130, the contents of the MI memory 150 and the Mx register 120 are compared, and in case they do not coincide, its character frame position is sent as an X character frame abnormal position to an X character frame abnormal position storage part 140. With regard to the (y) direction, as well, the foregoing is the same. In this state, a character frame abnormal position output part 300 outputs a stored character frame abnormal position, and raises an alarm. In such a way, the segmentation of a character in an abnormal state is prevented.</p> |
