PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a temporary memory and to execute the processing at a high speed by forming a group by that which has added a picture element required for an operation processing in the vicinity of the right and left to a picture element train of the same address and reading this group in a primary memory of a processing part from an image memory by the number of pieces required for an operation processing in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:An image processor 2 forms one group by that which has added a picture element in the vicinity of the right and left required for an operation processing to a picture element (word) whose object picture element and address are the same, reads it out of an image memory 1 by a group unit, and stores successively the picture elements of one group in a temporary memory by the number of groups required for at least an operation processing in the vertical direction. In such a way, a necessary operation processing can be executed by the temporary memory of a small capacity, and also, at the time of executing the operation processing of a one-picture element portion, it will suffice that access read to each word is scarcely overlapped and executed about once each, therefore, the image transfer time is shortened. |
