PURPOSE:To enable rapid, easy, and safe prevention of interference with a duct in a position in the vicinity of the duct, by a method wherein the duct in the vicinity of a conveyance passage is previously formed such that it can be deformed in a shape compressed in a direction in which it is spaced away from the conveyance passage. CONSTITUTION:A duct is installed horizontally and provided with a main duct 36 formed in a shape in which in a part of the duct, a part below half of a side is cut, and a vertical slide duct 15 which has an open upper surface and leak preventing covers 17 slidably mounted to both ends. During normal operation, an inner side 19 of a side contact part between the main duct and the vertical slide duct is of a slip joint system, and the outside of a bottom is brought into pressure contact by means of a fastening band 39 and a hook 40 for a fastening band. When other device is conveyed during the decrease of a flow rate, the fastening band is unlocked, and the slide duct is pushed up by a push-up handle until it is forced into complete contact with the ceiling of the main duct 36, so that the side of the main duct 36 and the bottom of the vertical slide duct 15 are secured to each other by means of the fastening band 39 and the like. An opening formed by movement of the vertical slide duct 15 is closed with the leak preventing cover 17. |
