PURPOSE:To reduce a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of a case and facilitate the opening of a door, by a method wherein the passage of air is blockaded by the blockading part of an opening and closing member through an energizing member in a condition that the door is closed while the passage is opened by the blockading part of the opening and closing member by hooking an operating part by a finger when the door is opened. CONSTITUTION:A handle part 4, attached to the front surface of a door 3 at a side not supported by bearings, is constituted of a frame type base member 12 and a vessel type member 14 having a recess 13 while a passage member, having a bent passage 18 therein, is attached so that one end thereof opens a through hole 16. An energizing member or a coil spring 25 is wound around a shaft to pivot an opening and closing member 20 counterclockwise at all times and energizes the blockading part 23 of the member 20 so as to close the through hole 16. The passage of air is blockaded under a condition that a door is closed since the through hole 16 is blockaded by the blockading part of the opening and closing member. Accordingly, warm air will never flow into a refrigerator from the outside thereof even when the inside of a storage chamber 8 becomes a negative pressure. When a finger is inserted into the opening and closing member and the member is pulled beforehand in order to open the door, the finger is abutted against an operating part at first and the opening and closing member is pivoted clockwise against the coil spring whereby the blockading part opens the through hole 16. Accordingly, a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the refrigerator is reduced and the door may be opened easily. |
