PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary for a first image forming action after interrupting the image forming action by carrying a material to be transferred with a carrying means so that the material to be transferred is carried from an integration part and made to wait in a carrier path in case of detecting that abnormality is released. CONSTITUTION:A control means 61 is provided, which makes the material to be transferred carried with the carrying means so that the material to be transferred is carried from the integration part 27a and made to wait in the carrier path 27b in case of detecting that the abnormality is released by a 2nd detection means 42 for detecting that the abnormality detected by 1st detection means 55 and 56 is released. Namely, at the time of detecting that the abnormality is released in a state where the image forming action is interrupted by the abnormality in carrying the material to be transferred, etc., the first material to be transferred is previously made to wait in the carrier path 27b in order to be carried to an image forming means 3 until the image forming means 3 becomes in an action-enabled state. Thus, the first image forming action can be effectively performed after interrupting the image forming action. |
