<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of an input pattern in a simple constitution with the handwriting input of a touch sensor by detecting the coordinates of all pushed keys in a single scanning action in case plural keys are pushed at one time. CONSTITUTION:The X direction coordinate data (X coordinates) is applied to a decoder 2 from a CPU 6 via an I/O port 1 and the decoder 2 decodes the X coordinate data for selection of one line set in the direction X. The selection data is given to a selector 4 from the CPU 6 via the port 1. This selection data shows the specific one of gates a21-g27 set in the direction Y and to be selected. Thus the scan data equivalent to eight lines out of all lines set in the direction Y is sent to the port 1 from the gate a21 selected by the selector 4. In such a way, the lines of an input pattern are never zigzag when the handwriting input is carried out by fingers via a touch sensor. Then an input pattern of high quality is obtained in a simple constitution.</p> |
