PURPOSE:To decrease the number of necessary functions and to simplify a program by transforming the mask data into a serial form together with the picture data existing in a rectangular area of a prescribed size including a notice picture element, multiplying both mask and picture data by each element, and obtaining a mapping of the notice element from addition of all multiplication results. CONSTITUTION:The picture element data X1, X8 and X7 on a 1st scanning line are read and the picture data X2, X0 and X6 on a 2nd scanning line are read with a prescribed time lag secured by a 1st function F11. At the same time, the picture element data X3, X4 and X5 on a 3rd scanning line are read with a prescribed time lag secured by a 2nd function F10. Then the multiplications are carried out between each picture element and the mask data based on said data which are read successively with each time lag secured and transformed into a serial form as well as the serial mask data. The multiplication results are added to each other by a 4th function F13 for calculation of a mapping X'0 against a notice picture element X0. Thus the number of necessary functions can be decreased. |
