发明名称 CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD AND POURING NOZZLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the quality of slab surface by forming the part contacting with meniscus part in the pouring nozzle and neighborhood thereof as the electric conductive heat generating part and heating with electric conduction from neighborhood of the meniscus. CONSTITUTION:Single or plural number of the pouring nozzles 11 are formed to a flat-shape and also at least made of the electric conductive material of alumina-graphite (Al2O3: 75%, C: 15%) etc., at least at the meniscus part of the molten metal containing the neighborhood. Further, the part except the exothermic part is constituted of insulating material. Before starting casting, the electric current is conducted to the pouring nozzle 11 from an electric source 41 through bus bar 35 and electrode 39, to heat the nozzle 11. By raising the temp. of the nozzle 11, the temp. near the meniscus (m) becomes higher than the temp. at the other part. Under this condition, at the time of pouring molten metal M from the nozzle 11 while circulating belts 22 and short sides 27, the meniscus part (m) is held to sufficiently high temp. In this way, sticking of the molten metal on the slab surface is prevented and the surface quality is improved.
