PURPOSE:To ensure the effective stroke of a spindle head by removing the spindle and tool attaching section from the spindle head, providing a transmission shaft having a spindle engaging section on an end of the spindle head and forming an attachment attaching section on the end face to attach various attachments having a support structure and a tool attaching section corresponding to the purpose of use. CONSTITUTION:A spindle 1 and a tool attaching section 2 are removed from a spindle head A which is provided on the end with a rotation transmitting shaft 3 of a motor 4 having an engaging section of the spindle 1. Said head A is provided on the end face with an attachment attaching section 5 provided in turn with a clamp device 7. A cutting attachment B1 has the spindle 1 built in and is attached to the attaching section 5 to rotatably drive a tool. Other attachments B2, B3 comprising support structures, drive means and tool attaching sections respectively suited for the purpose of use are attached selectively to the spindle head A. Thus, the attachment B1 and other ones B2, B3 can have the same dimension so that the stroke of the head A is not shortened. |
