<p>PURPOSE:To evade the miscalculation of coordinates by using a comparison means which compares the threshold value set at a threshold value setting means with a calling-on signal and performing no coordinate calculation based on the calling-on signal in case this signal exceeds the threshold value in a non-selection state. CONSTITUTION:The calling-on signal is not induced as long as a coordinate pointing means 1 is set at a coordinate detecting part 3 while the selection circuits 5a and 5b which select the detection lines of the parts 3 are kept in the non-selection states. While the calling-on signal is induced when the means 1 is set on a circuit except the part 3. Thus the value of the calling-on signal is compared with the threshold value set previously to discriminate both positions of the means 1 from each other. Then the coordinate calculation is inhibited in case of the latter position of the means 1. Thus it is possible to obtain a coordinate input device that never calculates the wrong coordinates.</p> |
