PURPOSE:To obtain a seasoning composition with a low salt content, rich in taste and capable of moderating sharp salty taste of soy sauce without using large amounts of a chemical seasoning and sugar by mixing pear fruit juice with soy sauce, edible vinegar and citrus fruit juice and regulating the salt content to a specific value or below in mixing the above-mentioned ingredients to prepare the seasoning composition. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning composition, obtained by mixing preferably 44.03-44.62vol.% soy sauce with preferably 38.12-38.71vol.%, preferably 1.12-1.23vol.% citrus fruit juice and preferably 0.65-0.76vol.% pear fruit juice and containing <=7vol.%, preferably 5.91-6.17vol.% salt. |
