PURPOSE:To erase the undesired schedule data all at once by preparing an area designating means which designates the area of the schedule data shown by an output from a cursor start/end point memory means and an erasing means which erases the schedule data stored in the designated area. CONSTITUTION:A cursor start point memory means 5 stores the cursor start point position when an instruction is received from a key input means 1. A cursor end point memory means 6 stores the cursor end point position with an instruction received from the means 1. An area designating means 7 designates the area of the schedule data shown on a display means 2 based on the outputs received from both means 5 and 6. Then an erasing means 8 erases the schedule data stored in an area designated by the instruction given from the means 1. In such a constitution, the designated areas are erased all at once by shifting the cursor via the means 1 and designating the head and end areas of each schedule item to be erased for transmission of an erasing instruction.
