PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp, large, and impressive image although the liquid crystal display device is portable by passing light through a light-transmissive liquid crystal part and then guiding it into the eyes through lenses, and also covering the passages of the light with frame bodies. CONSTITUTION:Color flat panels 9 and 10 are provided to the front parts of the frame bodies 11 and 12 which are so constituted as to cover the left and right eyes. The frame bodies 11 and 12 are so constituted as to cut off external light and painted inside in black. Further, lens units for enlarging images on the color flat panels 9 and 10 are mounted in the frame bodies and fitted on the head part with a holding spring 13. The image projected by the color flat panel 9 is enlarged by a lens 15 and its enlarged image is further enlarged by a lens 16. The gap between the lenses 15 and 16 can be varied by an adjusting device 14. Consequently, even an image on a liquid crystal display part of small size can be enlarged by several - tens of times. |
