<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a positional information on a target and concurrently to improve a target discriminating ability of human eyes, by adding a processing of converting an amplitude signal into a luminance gradation signal and by superimposing binary-coded luminance gradation sorted images thereon. CONSTITUTION:A transmission is executed with a low-pulse repetition frequency by a transmitter 1, and an antenna 2 emits the signal into a space and receives a reflection signal from a target. The reception signal digitized by a receiver 3 is subjected to amplitude detection 4 and integration 5, and an amplitude signal thus obtained is subjected to a binary-coding processing and converted into a luminance gradation signal by a binary-coding luminance signal converter 12. This signal and a symbolized target position information outputted from a target detector 8 are displayedon the same screen on a plane of distance and azimuth by a superimpose display unit 13, on the basis of a beam directional angle signal from a beam angle controller 11, and thereby a capability of discriminating the target is improved.</p> |
