The guides for the forks of the truck are arranged in diametric-ally opposed positions on the periphery of the circular holder. The holder comprises two semi-circular parts articulately joined to each other at one end and releasable closed at the other end. The guides are attached to the holder at joints located so that when the holder engages a barrel they are located above the barrel theoretical centre of gravity where the carrel is completely full. - A long support component is fixed to the periphery of the holder at right-angles to the holder plane. It extends parallel to the barrel central axis, along the barrel exterior to its bottom edge when the holder is fitted around the barrel. At its lower end, the support component has a heel formation for guiding the barrel empty-ing device. |
