The light diffusive coating helps a lamp to give uniform illumination in high efficiency and may be applied to hologen lamps, discharge lamps, optical filters, window panes, and the likes. The face surface of a lamp first coated with layers transmitting visible rays but reflecting infrared is again coated with a metal oxide layer to have foarms in the layer and diffuse rays to the effect of better uniform illumination.
