<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the hood of automobile from waving and improve the waterproofness and outer appearance by incorporating the hood pad in the side part of hood, and arranging the free end of a seal wrap fixed inside the hood at its one end between the side lower part of hood and the upper end of door sash. CONSTITUTION:An automobile has a roof 1 composed of hood cloth 4 detachable from the body of automobile. Weather strips are arranged at the respective upper parts of a roof side frame 5 and door sash 6. In this case, a hood pad 10 is built in the side part of the hood cloth 4 along the longitudinal direction of the body. One end of a seal wrap 11 is fixed at the position in the vicinity of the side of the body inside the hood cloth 4. The other free end 11b of seal warp 11 is arranged at a gap 12 between the side lower part of the hood cloth 4 and the upper end of the door sash 6, and set in a face-to-face relation with a recess 8a of a weather strip 8.</p> |
