PURPOSE:To keep molten resin in a specified temperature state, and prevent the occurrence of nozzle plugging, mold defectiveness and the like, by placing a nozzle into contact with a heat insulation block for closing the nozzle orifice in the case where the nozzle is moved in a transverse direction relative to molds for making the nozzle orifice perform opening and closing operations. CONSTITUTION:During the period of a nozzle closing process, mold opening process, molding article removing process and mold closing process in an injection molding process, a nozzle 47 is held in contact with a heat insulation block 26. The heat insulation block 26 is being heated by means of a heater 28 provided therein. Consequently, the heat insulation block 26 is kept in a constant temperature state irrespective of the temperature change of a fixed mold 16, and since the nozzle 47 contacts therewith, the nozzle 47 may also be kept in a specified temperature state. Namely, even in the case where the temperature of the fixed mold 16 is lowered, the nozzle 47 can be kept in a specified temperature state higher than that of the fixed mold. Thus, the resin within the nozzle 47 can be prevented from cooling and solidifying, and generating mold defectiveness due to the temperature difference of a molten resin. |
