发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM FOR SUBLIMATION TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate thermal fusion and to improve light resistance and stock performance without sacrifice of record image density, by composing an image receiving medium of a mixture of vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer and polyester resin and specifying the content of polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A dye receiving layer B composed of vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer and polyester resin where the content of polyester resin is higher than 5wt.% but lower than 50wt.% is applied onto an image receiving basic material A. When the amount of polyester resin is increased, peeling performance degrades and a large quantity of mold releasing agent is required. Consequently, bleed or retransfer occurs upon finish of recording thus degrading the stock performance of image. When the quantity of polyester resin is decreased, required dyeing performance, i.e. image density, can not be achieved. Preferably, synthetic paper, high quality paper, coated paper, plastic film and the like are employed independently or in the form of lamination as the basic material in an image receiving material. The quantity of the dye receiving layer to be applied onto the basic material is preferably set to 0.1-20g/m<2> in solid state.
