PURPOSE:To improve the processing stability of the photosensitive material, and to lessen the generation of a tar, even in case of processing continuously the photosensitive material for a long period by specifying the processing time of a bleach-processing step and by constituting the bleach-processing step of the counter-current system between two or more of adjacent tanks. CONSTITUTION:The processing time of the bleach-processing step is specified to <=90sec, and the bleaching-processing step is constituted of the counter-current system between two or more of the adjacent tanks. pH buffers composed of various kinds of salts such as boric acid, borax, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, acetic acid, sodium acetate and ammonium hydroxide, etc. solely or jointly are incorporated in a bleaching solution. Thus, the rapid processing method of the photosensitive material is established, and the stable processing of the photosensitive material is maintained for the long period, and the efficient application of a processing solution is pursued, whereby the high development quality of the photosensitive material is maintained. |
