摘要 |
PURPOSE:To enable rapid and continuous measurement with simple constitution and with high accuracy by impressing a required constant voltage to a measuring electrode which comes into contact with a material to be measured and a metallic reference electrode which is opposed to said electrode via a solid electrolyte and is shielded from the outside world and measuring the current corresponding to the content of hydrogen between the two electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The measuring electrode 5 of the DC polarization type hydrogen sensor 1 comes into contact with the material to be measured. The metallic reference electrode 5 which is opposed to this electrode 5 via the solid electrolyte 2 is shielded from the outside world by a reaction preventive material 10 for preventing the reaction of the electrode 5 and the shielding material 11 and a sealing material 11. The current corresponding to the content of the hydrogen in the material to be measured flows between the electrodes 5 and 6 when the constant voltage is impressed to the electrodes 5, 6 in such a manner that the electrode 5 becomes a negative electrode. The current is measured via a terminal part 9. The content of the hydrogen is thus measured rapidly and continuously with simple constitution and with high accuracy. |
