<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a data transmission time even when the retransmission of the transmission data takes place frequently by recalling the same destination if interruption of communication takes place, and revising at least one of the packet size and the window size to a value smaller than the setting maximum value by one stage in the case or recalling. CONSTITUTION:A system control section 1, a scanner 2, a plotter 3, an operation display section 4, a coding section 5, a picture storage device 6, a communication control section 7 and a network controller 8 in a group 4 facsimile equipment exchange a required mutually via a system bus 9. In the case of a first data transmission, the packet size and the window size are set to a maximum value to be able to be set and if communication interruption takes place, the same destination is called again and at least one of the packet size and the window size is revised to a value smaller than the setting maximum value by one stage in the case of recalling. Thus, the data transmission time when the retransmission of the transmission data takes place frequently is reduced.</p> |
