The method is for decorating or renovating a wall with ceramic tiles or bricks. A rectangular frame (2) which is reinforced by vertical members (5) is mounted on the wall. The vertical members are spaced at distances corresponding to the length of the tiles or bricks (6). The tiles or bricks have longitudinal holes which receive spacer elements which align adjacent bricks or tiles with each other. USE/ADVANTAGE - The frame enables the wall to be covered with a tiled facade without the need to prepare the surface of the wall.
