RESISTOR, ITS MANUFACTURE AND RESISTANCE PASTE, AND THERMAL HEAD USING IT

PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform thin film resistor while forming a desired resistor element by controlling crystal deposition of molybdenum and silicon at the time of baking by at least one existence of lead or bismuth. CONSTITUTION:Resistance paste of metal organic substance solution containing organic legend complex of Mo and silicon, at least one kind of lead or bismuth and metal organic substance such as aluminium when circumstances require as resistor material is used. The resistance paste is applied on a substrate to dry and a resistor is formed by baking it in air or in oxidation environment of excessive oxygen at the peak temperature of 600 deg.C or higher. An obtained resistor is a mixture at the atom level of molybdenum oxide which is conductive oxide and the other metal oxide which is insulating oxide and becomes a homogeneous thin film resistor. As the result crystal deposition of Mo, Si and the like are controlled at the time of resistor thin film baking, it can be homogenized and a resistance element available for a thermal head can be formed.
