PURPOSE:To prevent mixed data and its presence from appearing on a reproduced picture and to prevent a picture quality from being deteriorated by determining a dither matrix based on multilevel data obtained by quantizing the density information of an original picture and the desired data to be mixed. CONSTITUTION:Dither matrix is determined based on the multilevel data obtained by quantizing the density information of an original picture and desired data to be mixed and a desired dither picture and document data are outputted. Namely, a transmitter 1 is composed of a picture fetching part 3, a quantizing part 4, a density gradation part 5, a matrix selecting part 6, a document data fetching part 7, and a cell storing part 8 and an original picture 20 is inputted to a fetching part 3 and document data 21 is inputted to the fetching part 7. Here, a prescribed processing is executed, outputted from the selecting part 6, reproduced by a receiver 1, outputted as document data and the data picture is outputted as it is. For this reason, a receiver 2 is composed of a matrix detecting part 9, a cell storing part 10 and a character reproducing part 11. |
