PURPOSE:To obtain an insect and ant expellant for wood having excellent ant-expelling properties, weathering properties and durability, containing O,O- diethyl-O-(3-oxo-2-phenyl-2H-pyridazyn-6-yl) phosphorothionate and a specific compound as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:An O, O-diethyl-O-(3-oxo-2-phenyl-2H-pyridazyn-6-yl) phospho- rothionate and 2,3,3,3,2',3',3',3',-octachlordipropylether are contained as active ingredients. Containing ratio of the active ingredients are preferably in the range of former:latter is 9:1-1:9, especially 7:3-3:7 in weight ratio. In actual applying, method of directly coating, injecting or impregnating to wood in the state of liquid agent such as solution or emulsion using organic solvent such as aromatic hydrocarbon or water, or in the state of powder or granule using powdery carrier such as clay, etc., or a method of indirect application of mixing to soil, etc. |
