PURPOSE:To prevent the no-load electrification by applying an AC input voltage to a DC power circuit through one electrode filament of a fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent lamp 3 is lighted by inputting a power switch 2. In the no-load state in which the fluorescent lamp 3 is taken out from a plug 12 for the purpose of lamp exchange under the condition inputting the power switch 2, the circuit between a pair of terminals n1, n2 of a plug 12 is opened, generating no AC voltage in the terminal n1, and consequently no AC input voltage E to a DC power circuit 5'. Therefore, the application of the DC power source to a control signal generating circuit 7 is stopped simultaneously with the occurrence of no-load, and the oscillation of the control signal generating circuit 6 and also the oscillation movement of a oscillation circuit 7 are stopped, so that a fear of generating a high voltage in the plug 12 and a chock coil 8 is entirely dissipated. Hence, the electrification can be prevented. |
