PURPOSE:To make a record confirming operation unnecessary and to shorten a recording time by providing a defect information part in the neighborhood of an ID part, and recording information by selecting an unrecorded part where no defect exists. CONSTITUTION:The ID part 3 is constituted of a pre-bit string 7 arranged on one round of a land 6. Also, the defect information part 4 is constituted of a defective data pre-bit string 9 provided following the bit string 7, and represents whether or not a defect 10 exceeding prescribed size exists. And by reading the defect information part 4 following the ID part 3, the land 6 in the unrecorded part 2 where no defect 10 exists is selected by evading the unrecorded part 2 of an address where the defect 10 exists, then, a signal is recorded. In such a way, it is possible to make the record confirming operation unnecessary, and to shorten the recording time. |
