Device intended to allow a sheet of flexible material to be reinforced at the location where this sheet is subjected to the perforating action of a punch, this reinforcement resulting from applying a piece of self-adhesive material taken from a storage roll supplied to the said location prior to operating the said punch; on the storage roll, the said self-adhesive material is associated with a protective film strip, the said protective film being separated from the said self-adhesive material by bending back through 360 DEG just before the location of the perforation and of its reinforcement and subjected, beyond this location, to the action of an advancement member determining the supply to the said location of the said piece of self-adhesive material which is then compressed by a pressing buffer secured to the punch at the moment of operating the said hole punch, according to Claim 1 of the main patent, characterised in that the self-adhesive reinforcing material is in the form of precut eyelets carried at regular intervals on the protective film, but at the same time acts as a transporter strip, and which includes the same perforations as the said eyelets. <IMAGE>
