PURPOSE:To suppress the peak of an output waveform by setting the primary, secondary leakage inductances of a stepup transformer to large values, and setting a secondary side distributed capacity to a small value. CONSTITUTION:A stepup transformer is composed of a square theta shaped sectional laminated core 21, a primary bobbin 22 and a secondary bobbin 23 attached to its central core. In order to increase a leakage flux, the bobbins 22, 23 are mounted at separate positions, the predetermined number of the thin pieces of the laminated core are inserted therebetween to form a leakage path 24. The transformer inputs a rectangular wave by a switching transistor(Tr) or the like to its primary winding, and obtains a stepup AC at its secondary side. Thus, the transformer in which the primary, secondary leakage inductances are large, the secondary side distributed capacity is small, and stepup ratio is small is obtained, thereby reducing an influence to a waveform characteristic. |
