PURPOSE:To obtain the reluctance motor of high speed and high torque, by using a high DC power source according to output torque and rotational frequency, and by setting the sharp rise of exciting current, to return stored magnetic-energy to the power source. CONSTITUTION:With a multiplier circuit 53, the position detecting signal of input to terminals 51a, 51b is multiplied by the reference voltage for specifying the output torque of input to a terminal 58a. From an operational amplifier 57, the output of signal is generated when exciting current is made greater than the output of a multiplier circuit 58. Then, from a monostable circuit 56, the output of signal is generated for an only specified time. When the input of the position detecting signal is provided, then by an AND circuit 65a or 65b, transistors 10a-10d are turned ON, and the exciting current flows to an exciting coil A or B. While the output of the signal is generated from the monostable circuit 56, the transistors 10a-10d are turned OFF and magnetic energy stored in the exciting coil A or B is discharged to a power source. |
