PURPOSE:To prevent a superconducting wire from dropping by directing the directions of currents of superconducting wires attached to recesses formed on both sides of stacks the same, reversely directing them to the direction of currents of superconducting wires of adjacent stacks, and incorporating them in refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:Current limiting wires 2a1, 2a2, 2b1, 2b2,... made of a superconducting material are respectively attached to recesses A1, A2, B1, B2,... formed at both sides of a plurality of stacks 1a, 1b made of an insulating material. Currents Ia1, la2, Ib1, Ib1,... flowing to the wires flow in the same direction in the stacks, the wires are so connected in the adjacent stacks as to flow reversely, and a plurality of stacks are contained in close contact with each other in refrigerant. The wires attract from each other in the same stack, and repel to each other in the adjacent stacks. Thus, the wires are pressed by the stacks to prevent them from dropping from the stacks. |
