PURPOSE: To obtain a hair final growth-stimulating agent comprising a growth factor selected from transforming growth factor-α, transforming growth factor-β, insulin-like growth factor-1, the fragments of the growth factors and the mixtures of the growth factors or the fragments, and an excipient. CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic or medicine composition for local application to the skin of mammalian, especially a hair growth-stimulating agent enabling to stimulate the final growth of hair on human scalp, comprises a growth factor selected from transforming growth factor-α(TGF-α), transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β), insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), the fragments of one or more of the growth factors, and the mixtures of the growth factors or the fragments (especially preferably in an amount of about 0.002-10mg/ml), and a cosmetically acceptable excipient (e.g. water, a skin-softening agent, a solvent). The preferable amounts of the growth factors are TGF-α: 5-300ng/ml, TGF-β: 0.2-200ng/ml, and IGF-1: 2-700nm/ml. |
