PURPOSE:To prevent misprint by providing a mode in which an image is transferred on a transfer body and a mode in which a toner image can be seen from the outside of a machine without transferring the image on the transfer body. CONSTITUTION:In the mode where the toner image is transferred on the transfer material, an electrostatic latent image is formed on a photosensitive drum 1 by turning on/off laser 3 according to image information transmitted from a computer. Next, the toner image is formed on the drum 1 by a developing device 5 and transferred on paper P with impressing high voltage by a transfer charger 8. Meanwhile, in the mode where the toner image can be seen from the outside of the machine, the electrostatic latent image on the drum 1 is developed by the developing device 5 without actuating a paper supply roller 6 and the charger 8. When the toner image comes on the drum 1, the rotation of the drum 1 is stopped and the image is made to be seen through an acrylic window 13. Therefore, the image can be confirmed before it is printed out, thereby preventing the misprint. |
