Device for producing sour dough from scrap bread, slicing residues and the like

A device for producing sour dough from scrap bread is demonstrated which is very compact and which shows a safety clearance from the comminution tools, without the device being excessively large and difficult to fill. Furthermore, by means of the device, a long service life of the comminution tools is ensured. This aim is achieved by the arrangement of a filling shaft transversely over a round vessel and of a device for centering the rotating comminution tools and for the reliable positioning of the stationary comminution tools.
