An accumulator battery consists of a plurality of cells, each cell being contained in the corresponding one of cell-chambers which are separated by partition walls. In each cell, there are straps for connecting together tabs which proturde from the top edges of the positive and negative plates respectively. At each end of the cell, there are lug portions adjacent to each other on each side of the partition walls, and connected through holes in the walls. The negative strap of each cell is connected to the positive strap of the cell on either side and vice versa. The terminals are located in the end cells on the same side of the battery. |
