PURPOSE:To prevent the change of the sensitivity and the gradation of the title material during natural preservation or at the lapse of forced deterioration by incorporating an aquatized group VIII novel metal halide compd., in a silver halide particle at the time of preparing the particle. CONSTITUTION:The aquatized group VIII novel metal halide compd., is incorporated in the silver halide particle at the time of preparing the particle. The aquatized group VIII novel metal halide compd., is formed an aquo-in [M(OH2)m] which is a stable complex ion at the time of dissolving the group VIII novel metal halide compd. in water, and is composed of a compd. shown by the formula [M(OH2)m]Xn. In the formula, M is a group VIII novel metal, X is a halogen atom, (n) is an atomic value of the group VIII novel metal. Thus, the change of the sensitivity and the gradation of the title material during the natural preservation or at the lapse of the forced deterioration, is prevented. |
