PURPOSE:To aim at such a waterproofing countermeasure as conformed to a form variation in a side body by installing an almost U-shaped sectional pinching part and a pressing part installed in range to one side of paired opposed piece parts of this pinching part, and varying a section height of the opposed piece part on the other. CONSTITUTION:A body part 7 of a roof drip molding 6 is provided with a U-shaped sectional pinching part 11 with a pair of opposed piece parts 9, 10 and a pressing part 12 solidly molded at the side of the opposed piece part 9 on one side. A hanging piece part 17 and a lip piece 18 are solidly molded each in a lower spot of the opposed piece part 10 at the outside. Consequently, each height of these paired opposed piece parts 9, 10 and a pressed engaging part 15 are not made into symmetry, that is, being varied with one another. In addition, an engaging claw piece 13 of the pinching part 11 is pressed and engaged to a flange part 4c, and the pressed engaging part 15 at the outside is stuck close to an outer panel 4a by dint of elastic restoring force of the hanging piece part 17 and the engaging claw piece 13. With this constitution, sufficient water proofing effectiveness is securable. |
