<p>A testing apparatus for simulating the impact of falling stones or hailstones is disclosed. Test objects (1) such as vehicles, parts thereof or other components are bombarded with solid bodies moving relative to the test object (3). Two cylinders (1, 1'), at least one of which can be driven, with mutually parallel axes are arranged so that when the cylinders (1, 1') rotate, the solid bodies (2) introduced between the cylinders are accelerated and can be centrifuged on to the test object (3).</p> |
