Elastomer pipe-joint sleeve - has integral external stiffening ribs level with inside stop edge at inner end

The elastomer sleeve forms a sealed joint between a first pipe and a second one inserted in its end, limited relative axial pipe movement being possible. It has a cylindrical body with sealing ribs extending sideways from the outside, also a stop edge protruding radially inwards at one end for the end of the inserted pipe. At the other end a stop extends outwards, for the end of the outer pipe. The stop edge (4) is stiffened by ribs (7) level with it on the outside and extending sideways. These are integral with the body (2) of the sleeve.
