Moisture meter, in which a sample is weighed in a balance pan (20) by means of a balance (30) and, in so doing, is dried by means of radiation, after which the weight difference is output on an output device (A). The measuring performance of a moisture meter is increased by arranging several samples in balance pans (20) on a positioning device (11, 12) in a drying device (1) and feeding the balance pans (20) cyclically to the balance (30) by means of a control device (ST), the corresponding weight values assigned to the samples being stored and evaluated and the appertaining moisture values being calculated and output. <IMAGE>
