<p>PURPOSE: To use methanol to improve combustion of light oil by using an intake force of an air hose connected to an intake manifold of a diesel engine to introduce methanol and mixing the methanol with light oil for combustion. CONSTITUTION: An electron pump 2 is energized along with the rolling of wheels of a vehicle loaded with a diesel engine. Then, the electron pump 2 is actuated to supply methanol stored in a fuel tank 1 to a controller 3. Further, supply quantity is control to a constant value by the controller 3, and the filtered and purified methanol is heated by a heating bulb 4 and then introduced into an air hose 11 through a control pipe 9. Thereafter, methanol is mixed with light oil introduced via another path in the air hose 11, and this mixed fuel is supplied to a combustion chamber of the diesel engine for combustion. As a consequence, the combustion of light oil is improved by using methanol.</p> |
