The invention relates to a roller blind having a roller-blind casing which exhibits a slot for leading through the roller-blind shutter and has strip-shaped sealing elements which are arranged on the longitudinal borders of the slot and rest against the roller-blind shutter on the inner and outer sides thereof. The object of the invention is to improve the known roller blind to the effect that the slot can be sealed in a defined and precise manner, it furthermore being intended to achieve the advantage that protection against theft may also be obtained with the aid of the strip-shaped sealing elements. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the strip-shaped sealing elements (1; 10), on at least one side (element 10), can be displaced, with the aid of a device (17, 19) which can be actuated from outside the roller-blind casing, in the horizontal plane and can be pressed against the roller-blind shutter (3). <IMAGE>
