PURPOSE:To obtain a correct mixing ratio of a toner for forming a color image by an exposure and a development of one by detecting a current value of each toner in a toner mixture and replenishing the toner which has been consumed most, based on its value. CONSTITUTION:Cyan, magenta and yellow toners are supplied into a mixing container 13 from each hopper 11c, 11m and 11y, allowed to adhere onto a drum 16 so as to become a single layer and exposed, and thereafter, the toner which remains behind on the drum 16 is collected into the container 13 and reused. Subsequently, the toner from the container 13 is allowed to pass through between transparent electrodes 31r, 31g and 31b of red purple, green and blue and a non-light transmissive electrode 32, and an opposed sleeve 13b, and also, by applying each equal voltage, ammeters 35c, 35m, 35y and 35b are allowed to detect a current value. Next, based on its current value, replenishing rollers 12c, 12m and 12y are driven selectively, the toner which has been consumed most is replenished into the container 13, and the mixing ratio of each toner is controlled. |
