A shoe sole with a smell, esp. a perfume, comprises (a) 100 pts. of rubber, (b) 2-10 pts. of processing aid, (c) 3.4 pts. of activator, (d) 2-4 pts. of accelerator, (e) 20-70 pts. of filler, (f) .5-3.5 ts. of pigment, (g) 1.5-3.O ts. of S and (h) 1.0-4.5 pts. of synthetic scent; or, O.5-3.5 wt.% of a scent or erfume is added to leather. - Pref. a thermoplastic shoe sole comprises a mixt. of (a) 100 pts. of PVC, (b) 60-100 pts. of plasticiser, (c) 3-10 pts. of stabiliser, (d) 1-3 pts.of processing aid, (e) 0.5-2.5 pts. of pigment, and 0.5-3.5 pts. of synthetic scent.
