<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the pollution on a pressing face and prevent the aging reduction of the fingerprint recognition rate by providing a circumference covering member covering a movable shutter or the like and a hole around the finger insertion hole of a fingerprint collating device fitted to a car door or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a finger is pressed on the pressing face of a light permeating base section 1, light is radiated from the back side of the pressing face, irregularities of the fingerprint are detected as the difference of the light quantity of the reflected light and recognized as the fingerprint pattern by an image processor 2. This device is fitted to a car door 9 or the like, a circumference covering member covering a shutter device 7 or the like and a hole 80B is provided around the finger insertion hole 80B through which a finger can be inserted on the pressing face.</p> |
