PURPOSE:To form a launcher with less deformation and with good incident coefficient of high frequency electric power to plasma by making the bulkhead of a square wave-guide pipe grill at the tip of launcher in solid construction. CONSTITUTION:In a launcher 4 to transmit high frequency electric power into plasma upon forming a bond with nuclear fusion plasma, the bulkhead 3 of a square wave-guide pipe grill 10 at the tip of the launcher 4 is made in a solid construction. This tip part is formed from an upper and a lower metal block 2, and bulkhead 3 is formed by machining a groove 11 in each block 2, followed by putting together of these tow, upper and lower, which constitutes a bulkhead 3 consisting of one solid metal plate. This accomplishes a launcher 4 with high bending rigidity and less deformation, and the current drive efficiency of a nuclear fusion device can be enhanced. |
