Bale transporting apparatus, adapted to be removably attached to a vehicle, comprises side arms (13, 14) adapted to make a pincer movement to hold a bale by its sides, the apparatus also comprising means for lifting the bale held by the side-arms with an up-and-over action on to the vehicle. The apparatus may include a frame (1, 2, 3) adapted to be secured on the vehicle, and an elongate bar (12) pivotally-mounted on, but spaced from, the frame, the side-arms being pivotally- mounted on the bar. <IMAGE> |
